Canada Residential Proxies

Route traffic through real consumer connections in Canada. The coverage figures below are read from our supplier snapshot and refreshed daily, rather than being a number written into the page once and left there.

Targeting Canada

Targeting rides in the username, so switching market needs no dashboard change and no second credential. Append the country code to your username:

# Anywhere in Canada
curl -x http://USER-country-ca:PASS@gw-residential.node4.io:8082 https://api.ipify.org

# Over SOCKS5, same credential
curl --socks5-hostname USER-country-ca:PASS@gw-residential.node4.io:1082 https://api.ipify.org

# Hold one Canada exit across requests (pick any letters and digits)
curl -x http://USER-country-ca-session-482913:PASS@gw-residential.node4.io:8082 \
  https://api.ipify.org

Requesting a city with no exits is refused rather than silently redirected, so you never receive data from the wrong place believing it came from Canada.

Cities with coverage in Canada

291 cities are targetable. A sample is shown below; the targeting builder in your dashboard offers the full list, so you never have to guess whether a city has exits.

Why a Canada residential IP

Canadian storefronts are not carbon copies of their American parents: Amazon.ca, Walmart Canada and Best Buy Canada carry different catalogs, prices in Canadian dollars and different shipping promises, while Canadian Tire, Loblaws and Shoppers Drug Mart have no US equivalent at all. Streaming catalogs, Air Canada fares and Kijiji classifieds are likewise Canada-specific. A US IP sees a different country; only a Canadian residential address sees this one.

What teams run through Canada

Cross-border price comparison is the classic Canadian job: the same SKU on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, or Best Buy either side of the border, rarely costs the same. Retail teams track Canadian Tire, Loblaws and Sobeys promotions; SERP work targets Google.ca in both English and French; ad verification confirms Canadian campaigns are not leaking US creative. Localization QA matters more than usual here, since Quebec's French-language requirements mean many sites must be checked twice, once in each language.

Canada: coverage and targeting notes

Canada's population hugs the southern border, concentrated in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Edmonton. Bell, Rogers and Telus dominate residential connections, with regional players such as Videotron in Quebec. The country splits along language as much as geography: Quebec runs in French with its own retailers and media, while the rest is English-speaking. Province-level targeting is worth having for tax and delivery variance between Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta; beyond that, country level usually suffices.
