Why use a residential IP in Ukraine?
Ukrainian e-commerce has clear domestic anchors: Rozetka as the reference online retailer, Prom.ua as the marketplace, OLX.ua for classifieds and Hotline for price comparison, with Nova Poshta's parcel network underneath. These services price in hryvnia for Ukrainian residents. A Ukrainian residential IP loads them from a consumer connection in Ukraine; the language a site serves, Ukrainian or on some sites Russian, is set by its own toggle and your browser preferences.

Targeting Ukraine
For Ukraine, add country, city and session settings to the username:
# Anywhere in Ukraine
curl -x http://USER-country-ua:PASS@gw-residential.node4.io:8082 https://api.ipify.org
# One exit in Kyiv, 30, held
curl -x http://USER-country-ua-state-30-city-kyiv-session-231327:PASS@gw-residential.node4.io:8082 https://ipinfo.io/countryIf the city you name has no exits in Ukraine, the request fails rather than leaving from another location.

Examples to test from Ukraine
Pricing teams track Rozetka, Prom.ua and Comfy, and watch how offers rank on Hotline. OLX.ua supplies classifieds, vehicle and property data. SERP work targets Google in Ukrainian. Availability monitoring, meaning which regions retailers and Nova Poshta branches currently serve, is a real research need and changes over time, so date every observation. Ad verification covers Ukrainian publishers.
Ukraine: coverage and targeting notes
Kyiv is the center of gravity, with Lviv, Dnipro and Odesa the other major markets. Kyivstar, Vodafone Ukraine and lifecell carry mobile traffic, and Ukrtelecom plus many local fiber providers serve fixed lines; this describes Ukrainian connectivity, not the pool's mix on any given day. Conditions vary by region, so availability and delivery-coverage work benefits from city-level sampling where a city has depth. Straightforward pricing work is fine at country level.
Working with Ukraine exits
- When to hold a sticky session instead of rotating
- Checking where an exit is located
