Node4.io Scrape API: send a URL, get the page back.

One API call returns the rendered HTML, clean Markdown or a screenshot of the public page you point it at. You pay only for requests that succeed. It runs on IP blocks Node4 owns, and steps up to residential exits when a site blocks datacenter traffic.

Not available yet. The Scrape API is being built. Joining the waitlist is free, nothing is charged, and you'll get an email when it opens.

What we're building

A scraping API on infrastructure we run

The plan for the first release, in plain terms. Details may change before launch, and anything that does will change here first.

One call, three formats

Send a URL and say which format you want: the rendered HTML, clean Markdown, or a screenshot of the page. The result comes back in the response.

JavaScript rendering

Pages that build their content in the browser are rendered in a headless browser first, so you get what a visitor sees rather than an empty shell.

Billed only for successful requests

A request that fails is not billed. Pricing is not set yet, and it will be published before anyone is charged anything.

IP blocks Node4 owns, first

Requests go out from the datacenter IP blocks Node4 owns and runs. When a site blocks datacenter traffic, the request steps up to residential exits from our partner network automatically.

Plain REST to start

One REST endpoint and an API key. curl, Python requests or fetch will do; there is no SDK to install for the first release.

Later: crawling and change monitors

Crawling or mapping a whole site, and monitors that tell you when a page changes, are planned after the first release.

HTML

The page after JavaScript has run, for parsers you already have.

Markdown

The readable content without the markup, ready for AI and LLM pipelines.

Screenshots

An image of the rendered page, for visual checks and archives.
